In a bizarre incident on Jan 9, three jawans of the Indian Army got injured during a practice drill ahead of the Army Day on Jan 15.

The incident occurred due to helicopter boom malfunction. In a video which has come out on the incident, it can be clearly seen that while the Jawans were slithering from a chopper, the rope snapped and the troops came down crashing on the ground

All the three jawans have been reported safe. The army authorities have called for an investigation into the matter.
