At least three persons have been suspended after a video of a patient being dragged to X-ray room on a bedsheet went viral. The appalling video, which underlines medical apathy and negligence in our public health system, is of a government medical college in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur.
A video posted by news agency ANI shows a hospital attendant dragging the patient on what looks like a bedsheet. Three people were suspended after the video of the incident from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Medical College (NSCBMC) went viral.

The Dean of the NSCB Medical College, Dr Navneet Saxena said three people were suspended after the incident and the administration has also launched an inquiry after which action will be taken against all who are found guilty.
The medical college dean has also ordered an inquiry into the matter.
“Three persons have been suspended by the administration. An inquiry is underway and action will be taken against all found guilty,†Saxena was quoted as saying by ANI.
Earlier, a bleeding pregnant woman was taken to a community health centre, after covering a distance of 10 kms, on a motorcycle as the hospital didn’t send an ambulance. According to reports, the appalling incident took place in Jharkhand's Latehar and visuals of the unconscious woman on a motorcycle are being widely circulated on social media.
The 30-year-old woman, identified as Shanti Devi, was driven to the Chandwa community health centre (CHC) on a motorcycle by her husband Kamal Ganjhu.
