Three-year-old girl falls to death in Delhi

A three-year-old girl died as she fell off the third floor of her house while playing in east Delhi's Trilokpuri area, police said on Tuesday.

Nidhi, daughter of Rakesh Kumar, scaled the balcony's grill and fell down on Monday, they said. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. Her body was sent for autopsy, police said.

The girl's mother had gone to buy vegetables and her 13-year-old sister was studying when the incident occurred. Rakesh was on his job, the officer added.
