BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha on Monday heaped praise for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and urged political leaders to end negative and mudslinging politics. He also criticized BJP, saying that the party believes in honesty and transparency but it seldom go together.
The actor-turned-politician took to social media, urging political leaders in a series of tweets to stop levelleing allegations. He apparently came out in support of Lalu Prasad Yadav. He said it has become high time for politicians to substantiate their claims.
Sinha said that the political leaders must prove their claims. He said it is needless to provide such stories to media to sensationalise it.
He said he holds Kejriwal in high esteem for the latter’s credibility, struggle and commitment.
Sinha also took on BJP top brass, saying that honesty and transparency seldom go together in the party but it must go together.
