Trinamool Congress MPs on Tuesday created ruckus in the Lok Sabha after a BJP MP apparently levelled charges against West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, saying the latter’s address was misused in a scam involving shell companies.
After the BJP MP Kirit Somaiya accused the West Bengal chief minister, almost all TMC MPs strongly protested the charges, calling them “totally baseless”.
They also shouted slogans against the central government and stormed into the Well of the House.
Earlier during the Zero Hour, Somaiya alleged that a politician in Bihar has links with the scam relating to shell companies in the state.

He alleged that a similar scam had taken place in West Bengal and that it has been found that the address of the Chief Minister was given by the shell company during its registration.
The TMC MPs took strong objection to the comments and demanded that the Speaker should expunge them from the records. (With PTI Inputs)
