New Delhi:
Tamil Nadu Governor C Vidyasagar Rao, on Tuesday, allocated the portfolios held by Chief Minister Jayalalitha to the Finance Minister O Panneerselvam.
Jayalalitha is undergoing treatment at Apollo hospital in Chennai for over three weeks. This arrangement will continue till the Chief Minister fully recovers and resumes her duties.
The portfolio change was made on the advice of the Chief Minister, the Raj Bhavan said in a statement.
Jayalalithaa was admitted to hospital on September 22.
Besides, Panneerselvam will also preside over the cabinet meetings.
