The Madras high court on Monday issued a notice to Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker, asking him to submit the video of the entire assembly proceedings of trust vote of chief minister Edappadi K Palanisamy. 

The Tamil Nadu chief minister won the trust vote amid commotion and allegations of rule violations.The first bench comprising acting Chief Justice Huluvadi G Ramesh and Justice R Mahadevan posted the matter to March 10 for further hearing.

The order stated that Assembly secretary is directed to produce the videograph recorded from the commencement of confidence motion till the end.

A massive uproar was witnessed by the leaders of the opposition wherein DMK working president M K Stalin was seen coming out with unbuttoned shirt from the House. Stalin and others have already filed PILs seeking to declare the February 18 vote of confidence as illegal, null and void.
