The debates in both Houses of Parliament on Thursday were marred by ruckus over demonetisation. Lok Sabha adjourned for the day at 12:35pm, while Rajya Sabha will resume business at 2 pm.

On the opening day on Wednesday, the Rajya Sabha was rocked by Opposition’s united assault on the government over demonetisation, saying it had led to “economic anarchy” in the country.
