Top 5 news at 1 PM on Sept 24: IPM meets chiefs of Army, Air Force and Vice Chief of Navy to discuss India's response to Uri attacks

The chiefs of Indian Army and Indian Air Force, and Vice Chief of Naval Staff met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg on Saturday.

According to an ANI tweet, the discussions were held on prevailing security situation at the borders and India's response to Uri Attack.

5) Russia denies any military exercise with Pakistan in Occupied-Kashmir

Only hours after Russia’s state news agency announced the first ever Russia-Pakistan military drill, Russian Embassy in India on Friday night clarified that Russia will not participate in any military exercise in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, including in sensitive areas like Gilgit-Baltistan.
