Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai will go to the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) to discuss the corruption allegations against him in the app-based premium bus service. The bus service which was rolled out last month had to be revoked after LG Najeeb Jung voiced suspicion that the scheme was meant to favour one company. After some days, Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta filed a complaint with the ACB.

The Delhi government had announced the premium bus service during the second phase of the odd-even scheme in April. But the scheme could not be launched after Jung didn’t give his assent to the service.

The AAP government has been in a tiff with Jung, accusing him of creating hurdles in the party’s development plans. Rai is likely to visit ACB today to clear the air on allegations against him.
