Tripura: CPI Marxist leader Manik Sarkar is poorest chief minister of India, has Rs 2410 in bank

Communist leader Manik Sarkar continues to remain the poorest serving chief minister in the country with paltry scanty sum of Rs 1520 cash in his hand.

The veteran left leader in his affidavit has stated that he has bank balance of Rs 2410.16 as January 20, 2017. The amount is around 75 per cent less than the money — Rs 9,720 — which he had claimed during last state assembly elections in 2013.
