Ahead of Presidential elections in the country, political parties have become active and started playing their cards.

The latest development came from TRS' (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) camp, and the party has extended its conditional support to ruling Bhartiya Janta Party led NDA in the upcoming presidential election.

However, TRS has made it clear that if the centre don’t work for the betterment and development of Telangana, it would take back its support and stand against BJP.

The BJP has not yet announced its candidate and there are speculations in the political world that BJP would like to play safe and would not project any of its leader associated with controversies.

Earlier, Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swami has said that his party needs only 20 thousand votes, therefore, they are not worried for the presidential election.

President Pranab Mukherjee’s term is coming to an end on July 24 and the fresh elections has to be held for country’s highest constitutional post before that.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has also been holding consultations with a number of Opposition leaders in a bid to field a joint candidate for the top post.
