Senior TV journalist and former Editor-in-Chief of Times Now Arnab Goswami on Monday released his message on YouTube and said that a media group has sent him a legal threat for using the phrase 'Nation Wants to Know' in his news programme on his upcoming news channel.

Senior TV journalist and former Editor-in-Chief of Times Now Arnab Goswami on Monday released his message on YouTube and said that a media group has sent him a legal threat for using the phrase 'Nation Wants to Know' in his news programme on his upcoming news channel.

In 2:58 minute long audio released by @Republic on Twitter, Arnab Goswami said 'a media house has sent him a 6-page letter threatining him with imprisonment if he ever uses the phrase '(Nation wants to Know).'

"They say that they own the phrase," said Arnab in his audio message released on Twitter.

Earlier on April 16, Republic TV had launched a teaser campaign for the English news channel on its Facebook and Twitter accounts.

In November last year, Goswami had resigned as the Editor-in-Chief of Times Now. He was the face of the channel's prime time show ‘The Newshour’.
