Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday took a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party, saying that the latter should legislate a law to make singing Vande Mataram compulsory instead of making vague statements.
According to The Hindu, Thackeray, who was addressing a gathering in Vile Parle, said that Vande Mataram should be sung every day.
He said, “The BJP MLAs, who warn others over Vande Mataram, can’t sing even four lines. The party must introduce a law for the same.”
