An undertrial jailed at Taloja jail fled on Saturday. Undertrial named Hanumant Sadashiv Patil was arrested in a kidnapping and murder case of a Cisco clerk in February 2013. He escaped from JJ hospital on Saturday around 4.15 pm. He was escorted to the hospital by the police team for his routine medical tests. 

The accused has been identified as Prem alias Hanumant Sadashiv Patil (28), a resident of Kamothe who worked as a realty agent.
In March 2013 too, Patil had escaped from NMMC hospital when he was taken for medical tests. He was nabbed after two months from Wakvan village in Taloja when he visited his wife, informed senior inspector Sunil Bajare of Panvel city police station.
