UP Assembly Polls: Senior SP leader Naresh Agrawal dispels rumour of joining BJP

Senior Samajwadi party leader Naresh Agarwal dispelled the rumour about him joining Bhartiya Janta party (BJP). 

' News of me joining BJP is baseless, I am with Akhilesh and my aim is to finish BJP in Uttar Pradesh' said Naresh Agarwal to news agency ANI.

Earlier ANI reported that Naresh Agarwal will join BJP on Monday.

During Samajwadi Party feud, Naresh Agarwal stood beside Akhilesh Yadav. Agarwal has been MLA for seven times from Hardoi constituency.

This time in the first list of 191 candidates released by SP,  Naresh Agrawal’s son Nitin Agrawal will contest from Hardoi constituency.

The candidate list covered the first three phases of polling on February 11, February 15 and February 19.
