Uttar Pradesh Police on Monday have initiated a probe against a WhatsApp group created in the name of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
Uttar Pradesh Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) IG Asim Arun confirmed the development. “The probe was initiated after a 20-year-old man received an invitation link to the WhatsApp group.”
The ATS in its initial stage of investigation has learnt that the links were posted by a 15-year-old boy staying in Rajasthan’s Bhilwada.
“The class 9 students received the link from another teenager of the state. We are in contact with the parents of the duo,” said the IG.
