Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at latter’s official residence 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. The details of the meeting were not known. This was the third meeting between the two leaders since Adityanath took over the reign of the state.
Before this, Adityanath had met on March 21 and April 9 with the Prime Minister.
Earlier in the day, the chief minister met Union finance minister Arun Jaitley at latter’s residence. It was dubbed as a courtesy meeting.

Adityanath also met Minister of state for power and coal, Piyush Goyal and discussed electricity transmission and supply improvement in the state.

The chief minister would also meet Union roadways and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari where he may give a proposal to name 16 roads to new National Highway.
It is said that he may propose to convert Allahabad-Jhansi national highway into four-lane.
