Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will chair the third cabinet meeting on Tuesday in Lucknow and would discuss key proposals.
During the meet, the government may give its consent to kick off Metro project in Gorakhpur.
The cabinet may also consider proposal of state’s transfer policy as it has single transfer policy where a government official serving more than six years in a district is transferred while it applies for the same if an employee is serving more than ten years in a division.
The new transfer policy may reduce the district term to 5 years while divisional term could be fixed to 7 years. A few other developmental projects could be discussed in the meeting.
In the last two cabinet meets, the government has taken key decisions as promised in BJP’s manifesto to the people.

The decision of farm loan waiver upto Rs 1 lakh for farmers was taken up in the first cabinet meet while the second cabinet meet had approved the proposal to supply 24-hour power to district headquarters in the state.
