UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday sent for files of payments made by previous govt. after declaration of assembly elections. All the files of payment above Rs 5 crore has been recalled in Chief minister's office for a check.
Since taking over office, UP CM Adityanath has taken some quick actions and delivered early on many promises made by BJP during assembly polls.
Earlier in the day, Chief minister Yogi Adityanath directed Uttar Pradesh government officials to stop chewing pan, pan masala, etc. when in office, after seeing stained walls during his first visit to the secretariat annexe building in Lucknow. He also asked government officials to avoid smoking when in office.
On the orders of new Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath "anti-Romeo squads" of the police were out on the streets to hunt for 'Romeos' and many young men were questioned, shamed, reported to their parents and even forced to do sit-ups in various cities across Uttar Pradesh.
