As Uttar Pradesh preps for the third of the seven phases of ongoing assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and CM Akhilesh Yadav are set to address numerous rallies on Thursday.
Leading the charge for BJP, PM Narendra Modi will address rallies in Hardoi and Barabanki, whereas party president Amit Shah will address poll rallies in Rahul Gandhi’s parliamentary turf Amethi, along with Pratapgarh and Kaushambi.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh will also try to woo voters with consecutive rallies in Farukhabad, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao and Kanpur City.
UP CM Akhilesh Yadav and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will take the guard on election grounds as Rahul will address three rallies in Sitapur, Hardoi and Unnao and Akhilesh will address two rallies in Lucknow.
AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi will also address a rally in Hardoi as his party is contesting on 40 seats in Uttar Pradesh for the first time - in the last state election five years ago, it did not participate.
With three rallies, Hardoi is bound to remain at centre of political buzz on Thursday.
