UP Assembly polls: BJP releases names of star campaigners; LK Advani, MM Joshi not included

The Bhartiya Janata Party on Saturday released list of star campaigners for UP Assembly election. The list carries names of 40 leaders. Names of senior BJP leaders Lal Krishna Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi was not included in the list.

BJP UP President Keshav Prasad Maurya submitted the names of star campaigners for first and second round of polls to Election Commission.

The list includes names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Arun Jaitley, Venkaiah Naidu, Ram Lal, Smriti Irani, Om Prakash Mathur, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Kalraj Mishra, Uma Bharti, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Vasundhra Raje Scindia, Piyush Goyal, Mahesh Sharma, Yogi Adityanath, Sajiv Balyan, Ram Vilas Paswan, Mukhta Abbas Naqvi, Hema Malini, General V K Singh, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Santosh Gangwar, Manoj Tiwari, Menka Gandhi among many others.
