UP polls: Campaigning for first phase of election ends today

Campaigning for first phase of Uttar Pradesh election ends on Thursday. February 9 is the Last day for campaigning for first phase of polls.

73 Seats of 15 districts will undergo for poll on 11 February in Uttar Pradesh. The first phase of election also include seats of riot-scarred Muzaffarnagar and Shamli.

BJP had won just 11 of the 73 seats in 2012, but improved its performance significantly in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. The party has gone all out this time to woo the electorate in the state.
