The Uttar Pradesh STF on Tuesday arrested two persons in the case pertaining to gangrape accused Gayatri Prajapati who is still at large. Both accused have been identified as Ashok Tiwari and Ashish Shukla.
ADG (Law and Order) Daljit Chaudhary informed that the UPSTF arrested duo from Noida. On Monday, the police had arrested Prajapati’s gunner Chandrapal Singh in the case.
"Chandrapal (Prajapati's PSO) was arrested near Police Lines here," Additional Superintendent of Police (East) Shivram Yadav had told.
"We are interrogating Chandrapal and trying to extract information and whereabouts about rest of the minister's accomplices. The police is also conducting raids at locations revealed by the arrested gunner," he had said
He added Chandrapal will be produced before court Tuesday.
ADG (Law and Order) Daljit Chaudhary had said efforts have been intensified to track down the minister against whom a non-bailable warrant has been issued.
