In yet another shocker from Uttar Pradesh, two minor girls were allegedly gang-raped at gun-point by a ration shop dealer in Muzaffarnagar, reports said on Thursday. A case has been registered in the matter.
The incident comes close on the heels of alleged rape of four women on the Jewar-Bulandshahr highway by six men, who stopped the car of a family, looted them and killed one person in the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
There has been a tremendous rise in the incidents of rape and murder in various parts of Uttar Pradesh.
