Bhartiya Janta Party’s MP Udit Raj courted controversy on Monday by encouraging players to eat or do whatever it takes to win medals, even if it means eating ‘beef’.Â
Raj, Member of Parliament, (Lok Sabha) from Northwest Delhi gave the example of all means adopted by ‘poor’ Usain Bolt and his coach to get the player fit to win scores of medals for Jamaica.Â
“Usain bolt of Jamaica was poor and trainer advised him to eat beef both the times and he scored 9 gold medals in Olympic,†Raj tweeted, from his twitter handle, @Dr_Uditraj, on Sunday night.Â
