Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called ‘Love Jihad a dangerous thing’ on Wednesday in Kerala.
The Uttar Pradesh CM referring to an incident in which Kerala woman was converted to Islam after marrying a muslim man.
He also suggested the Kerala government should take a stand on the incident.
“Love Jihad is dangerous things. Kerala government should make a stand clear about the issue,” said Adityanath.
The UP CM is in Kerala to participate in the BJP rally, ‘Jana Raksha Yatra’. The rally has been called by the BJP to protest political killing in the state.

Several leaders in the BJP state that the Hindu woman was misled and have been alleging that the number of such unions are rising.
The BJP leaders further state that the purpose of such conversion is only to indoctrinate and recruit Hindus to terror groups like ISIS.
While secular leaders say that inter-religion marriages are consent of two adults is nobody else’s business.
The Supreme Court in relation to the Kerala case had said on Tuesday that a father cannot be seen dictating personal life of 24-year-old daughter. The court also said that it would examine the question of whether the Kerala High Court can annul the marriage of a Muslim man with a Hindu woman who had converted to Islam before the wedding.
