A rape survivor from Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh has reportedly written a letter inked in blood to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, seeking against those who assaulted her and also threatened to commit suicide if justice is not delivered.

According to reports, the girl has written, “Police is not taking action against the accused, they have powerful political links.”

The victim narrating her ordeal in the letter further writes, “My assaulters are pressuring me to withdraw the case.”

She also threatened PM Modi and CM Adityanath of committing suicide if no action is taken against the alleged rapists.

According to PTI, the girl is an engineering student and she had written the letter on January 20.

An FIR was lodged by the victim’s father on March 2017 against two youths identified as Divya Pandey and Ankit Verma in Barabanki police station, said UP Police.
