Kunwar Pranav Singh 'Champion’, a Bharatiya Janta Party MLA from Uttarakhand’s Khanpur, who accused his own party of shielding corrupt, has been served a show cause notice by the BJP.
‘Champion’, went public against the ruling Trivendra Singh Rawat government accusing the Chief Minister of shielding the corrupt despite "flaunting" its policy of zero tolerance to corruption.
According to the party sources, Singh was unhappy with a “corrupt” official in an investigating panel in Haridwar region.
Singh alleged that the corrupt official was put on the panel at the behest of state Urban Development minister Madan Kaushik.
