AIADMK chief V K Sasikala greets Tamil Nadu governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao on his birthday

AIADMK chief V K Sasikala extended birthday greetings to Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, who turned 76 on Sunday.

A floral bouquet was also presented to the Governor on her behalf, a party statement said in Chennai.

On Saturday, soon after she staked her claim to form the government, Sasikala wrote to Rao, also the Maharashtra Governor, seeking an appointment to parade the party MLAs supporting her.

Sasikala had then said she believed that the Governor would “act immediately to save the sovereignty of the Constitution, democracy and the interest” of Tamil Nadu.
