New Delhi:

Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday slamming the Congress for labelling Jammu and Kashmir as “Indian-occupied Kashmir” in its booklet said the people of India would never forgive the party for such a mindset.

Uttar Pradesh Congress on Saturday released a booklet with an incorrect map of the country.

The booklet titled ‘Rashtriya Suraksha Par Aanch’ in the context of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was distributed by the Congress in Lucknow. On page 12 of the 16-page booklet showed the entire state of J&K labelled as “Indian Occupied Kashmir.”

“People can never forgive the Congress for this mindset which is now a part of their official publication,” the senior BJP leader said.

The Congress party recently asked BJP to come with a final solution of Kashmir Issue. Naidu taking a dig at the party’s demand said, “perhaps, the final solution they have in mind is that let Kashmir be given to Pakistan so that we all live in peace.  This mindset has been reflected in their official booklet released in Lucknow on Saturday.”

This was not the first instance of showing the wrong map of India. Earlier, a Class 12 National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) Political Science textbook showed Aksai Chin as part of China with the label ‘Indian claim.’
