The BJP-led NDA Vice-Presidential nominee Venkaiah Naidu, issued a strong warning to Pakistan stating their abetment of terror will not help and should recall what happened in 1971 on Sunday during Kargil Parakram Parade in Delhi.

"Our neighbour should understand that aiding and abetting terror will not help them, they should recall 1971," Naidu while addressing the parade said.

Naidu also recalled the bravery and sacrifice of soldiers who won back Kargil district from Pakistan in the fierce conflict in 1999.

The former Union Ministers’ remark came amid the rising infiltration bid along the Line of Control and recent cease-fire violation by Pakistan Army which led to killing of 11 Indians including 9 soldiers in Kashmir.
