Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) working president Pravin Togadia on Wednesday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of conspiring with the Ahmedabad Crime Branch to harass him and VHP supporters.
“Ahmedabad Crime Branch joint commissioner J K Bhatt is hatching conspiracy against me and harassing VHP workers on direction of his political bosses sitting in Delhi,” said Togadia after being discharged from a private hospital.
The VHP leader added, “Call detail of conversation between PM Modi and Bhatt in the last 15 days should be made public.”
The VHP leader had gone “missing” on Monday and was admitted in private hospital some 10 hours later. He was found in unconscious state from a park.
He had earlier claimed that there was a conspiracy to kill him and this was hatched jointly by the Crime Branch and the Rajasthan Police.
“Rajasthan Police had come to arrest me in a 10-year-old shut case,” said Togadia.
The VHP leader added that he has learnt that the case Rajasthan Police came to arrest him was withdrawn in 2015. “When the case is closed, under whose instruction did Rajasthan Police come to arrest me. It appears the police is working under political influence of Delhi,” said Togadia.
