The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold parliamentary party executive meeting on Monday to decide the name of NDA’s nominee in vice-presidential poll.
The meeting will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and other members of the parliamentary party executive.
The meeting will take place a day before of the last date of filing nomination for the vice-presidential poll.
Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu said, "It’s not appropriate to speculate on any names till a formal announcement is made by the Party. Such speculation in respect of high Constitutional position is not advisable."
On the other hand, Gopalkrishna Gandhi, the Opposition candidate for the Vice-Presidential election on Sunday said that he will file nomination on 18th July. "I will file nomination on July 18," Gandhi said while speaking to ANI.
