New Delhi:

In order to make a strategy for the upcoming vice presidential elections 2017, the opposition parties are all set to meet on July 11 in Delhi.

The process of filing nominations for the August 5 vice presidential election began on July 4 with the Election Commission issuing notification. Neither the ruling NDA nor the opposition has so far announced their respective candidates for the post of vice president.

The last date of filing the nominations is July 18. The election is set to take place on August 5, 2017. Chief Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi announced the dates and schedule for the Vice-Presidential at a press conference on June 29.
