Video: Poet Kumar Vishwas asks Indians to unite, demands strict action against people assaulting soldiers

Dr. Kumar Vishwas asks Indians to unite

Poet and senior politician Dr. Kumar Vishwas has slammed people who had recently assaulted CRPF men performing their duties during bypoll on Srinagar parliamentary seat.

He has also raised questions on the meagre 6% voting in Kashmir apart from claiming that it either the populace of the state is terrified of separatist forces regarding their security or there is a deficit of trust.

Dr. Vishwas emphasised that it is necessary to put fear in separatists' heart and also help people of the state to participate in mainstream politics.

He further claimed that people in the country were loyal to their respective leaders such as PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Yogi Adityanath and others. Instead, he asked people to take pride in their country's thousand year old history and stop running after individual leaders and parties.

Moreover, he said that in the past, India stretched from Kandhahar to the Brahmaputra plains but people's association and loyalty towards their local kingdoms was responsible for India's degeneration. He asked people to come out of loyalty towards their respective leaders and unite as a nation apart from asking for strict action against people who attacked our soldiers.

Dr. Vishwas also raised the issue of former Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav who is is Pakistan's custody on allegations of spying. Kumar criticised the govt. for not labelling Pakistan a terrorist country and not taking any concrete action for Jadhav's release.

He demanded that India should withdraw the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status provided to Pak and stop all sorts of business with them.

Furthermore, the poet gave credit to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam for Pokhran nuclear tests which showcased India's strength. He also hailed the recent surgical strikes done by the armed forces on Pak soil but criticised both the govt. and opposition for playing politics on the issue. 

The poet however lauded PM Modi for his nationalism and uged people to unite and provide strength to the country.
