New Delhi:

Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Vinay Katiyar on Friday said that national anthem should be sung and national flag be hoisted at all schools and madarsa. He added that people who don’t agree should be categorised as traitors.

Katiyar’s statement came at a time when already UP Madarsa Shiksha Parishad had directed all Madarsas in the state to unfurl national flag and recite national anthem on August 15.

71st Independence Day is going to be celebrated across the country on August 15. The incident of disrespect to national flag has been reported from the Kashmir valley very often. The nation would be on high alert during the Independence Day celebrations.
