Watch | 15 km long traffic jam in Mathura toll plaza

It turned out to be a stressful Monday morning for commuters after they were stuck in fifteen kilometre-long traffic jam near Mathura toll plaza.

As many as eight-thousand vehicles were stuck in the jam, caused by commuters returning from Agra and Mathura after Diwali holiday.

The traffic congestion ultimately caused the toll-executives to make the toll duty free so as to ease out the traffic.

According to officials, it was approximately fifteen kilometres long traffic jam from the national highway to Yamuna expressway.
