Triggering yet another controversy at an event in Karnal, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was on Thursday caught on camera pushing aside a man as the latter tried to take a selfie with him. The nine-second-long video, which has gone viral on several social media platforms, shows a youth touching Khattar's feet to seek his blessings, but was later pushed aside as he intended to take a selfie with Khattar.
"Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar pushes aside a man who tries to take a selfie with him, at an event in Karnal," the news agency ANI reported along with a video of the incident.
However, Khattar did not seem bothered with the incident and was seen moving ahead with a smiling face while showering rose petals to the ocean of supporters gathered at the event.
Notably, this is not the first incident when the BJP leader has lost his cool and misbehaved with a party worker. In February, another video footage was doing rounds on social media, purperotedly showing Khattar shouting at an elderly couple, who inquired him about a Rs 19 lakh fraud case.
The Haryana chief minister did not event spare the media and once told a scribe that their job is to ask questions and not to accuse the government. Khattar's statement comes after a journalist asked him about a delay in addressal of grievances received on 'CM window'.
