Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked BJP MPs and MLAs to submit details of their bank account transactions between November 8 and December 31. All the ministers have been asked to submit their details to party president Amit Shah by January 1.

Reacting to this announcement, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a video message urged PM  Modi to form an independent committee for an indiscriminate inquiry into the bank accounts of all MPs and MLA in the last five years.

He also asked PM to get the accounts of all political parties checked. Kejriwal demanded an inquiry into land purchase by BJP leaders in the last few months.

Taking a jibe at PM Modi for waving of bank loans, he asked him to also get their records checked. Not only this, Kejriwal asked the PM to obtain account details of PayTM and Big Bazaar.

Kejriwal had earlier alleged that many BJP leaders were tipped off about notes ban and purchased lands in order to cover their unaccounted money.
