The day after sacked Delhi water minister Kapil Mishra levied serious graft charges against Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, the party and opposition are gearing up for a political slugfest.
In an unlikely development, AAP party dissenters, including Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav, defended Arvind Kejriwal and said that is unimaginable that he will indulge in corruption.
Kapil Mishra had on Sunday alleged that Kejriwal accepted Rs 2 Crore bribe money from health minister Satyender Jain two days ago.

He was sacked from Delhi cabinet on Saturday for inefficiencies in his work in the water department.
After the charges surfaced, BJP and Congress gunned for Delhi CM's Kejriwal's head and post.
Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari said Kapil Mishra has not made an allegation but testimony and Kejriwal must immediately resign from Delhi Chief Ministers’ post.
“Whole of Delhi is absolutely shocked by today's remarks of Kapil Mishra. It's not an allegation but statement of a witness,” said Tiwari.
While Congress Delhi head Ajay Maken said that the allegations Kejriwal have stripped AAP of its anti-graft plank. He proposed a referendum to force AAP from power in Delhi.

Expected events of the day:
#Kapil Mishra will go to Anti-Corruption Bureau with proof of his graft charges against Arvind Kejriwal at 11 AM on Monday. He claims that he has already submitted a copy of the documents to Delhi L-G on Sunday. The ACB sources told media on Sunday that they will start a formal probe into the matter if L-G office forwards them the complaint.
#Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to hold a meeting with AAP MLAs in New Delhi to discuss the restructuring of the state unit
#Congress party is likely to hold a meeting on the issue. The senior leaders are likely to meet President of India to memorandum against Kejriwal.
#Kapil Mishra and Kumar Vishwas may hold a press conference together on the issue. Vishwas, who has been unhappy with internal politics of the party, remained cryptic about his reaction on graft charges, giving rise to speculations about his loyalties in the matter.
