Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed a public rally in Uttar Pardesh’s Bahraich through mobile phone as he was unable to land in the area due to foggy weather.
The parivartan rally is part of Bhartiya Janta Party’s campaign for the next Uttar Pradesh assembly elections due in 2017.
Sunday’s rally will be sixth in the series of his Parivatan Rallies for the elections after Jhansi, Ghazipur, Agra, Kushinagar and Moradabad.
Bahraich is a traditional bastion of the Bhartiya Janta Party.
