Uttar Pradesh's new DGP Sulkhan Singh took charge on Saturday. During his first press conference Singh made it clear that there will no room for lawlessness in the state from now on.
Yogi Adityanath government on Friday replaced Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Javeed Ahmed with Sulkhan Singh. Sulkhan Singh will be new DGP of UP.
Bhavesh Singh has been appointed as ADG, Intelligence. Aditya Mishra has been made ADG, Law & Order.
The UP government has also announced IPS transfer list in the state. Alok Prasad has been appointed as DGP, Homeguards.
The list also included the names of Dr Surya Kumar, Jawahar Lal Tripathi, Vijay Kumar, Daljit Singh, Alok Singh, Sanjay Singhal and Navneet Sikera.
