Meerut:
An elderly woman and her son were shot dead in broad day light by three unknown assailants outside their house in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district on Wednesday morning.
Killing of the woman was recorded by the CCTV camera installed outside their house in Meerut’s Sorkha village, police said. The recording is making rounds on the social media.
DG Meerut Zone Prashant Kumar said, “We have identified the persons behind the dual murder. The culprits will be arrested soon.”
“The woman’s husband was killed last year in 2016. The duo were witness to the murder. The two were scheduled to appear in court to testify in the case this week,” said a police officer posted in Meerut.

One can see in the video that two elderly women lying on cots. Three man with country-made pistol walks towards the elderly woman and open fire at her from a point blank range. The other woman walks away as three start shooting.
In the video, one can see that the criminals reloaded their weapons thrice and pumped bullets in her face.
