New Delhi:
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, known for her fiery political speeches and humble living, turned a “Chai-wali” during her visit to coastal town of Digha. A video shared on Twitter by Banerjee, shows her talking to the tea maker before she enters the store and start preparing the tea. She then pours the tea in a mug and distribute it to people.
“Sometimes the little joys in life can make us happy. Making and sharing some nice tea (cha/chai) is one of them. Today, in Duttapur, Digha,” the West Bengal chief minister tweeted along with a video of her making tea.
In the video, she is also seen pampering a child and give the baby a pouch of biscuits or chocolate (we couldn’t recognise what it was). While the chief minister was caressing the baby, people surrounding her were clicking pictures.
