We need verdict not guidelines on Ram temple issue, says Shiv Sena in Saamana

Shiv Sena on Thursday said people were anticipating a decision from the Supreme Court in Ayodhya dispute instead of a suggestion.

The party slammed the top court in its editorial piece 'Saamana', saying the "apex court unnecessarily intervene" in several decision, but it refrained on the crucial issue leaving the matter for out-of-court settlement. “It was not a dispute of property," the party said in its editorial.

The party said a lot of people offer suggestions and now the apex court has also joined the club by giving same to people and politicians. It said they were anticipating a clear decision from the top court but a decision came.

The party said further in its editorial that such suggestions can be obtained from people like Anna Hazare, Ramdev Baba, Lal Krishna Advani and RSS pramukh Mohan Bhagawat. It said the two parties approached the top court after no breakthrough came up in the matter.

The editorial said Subramanian Swamy had moved to court in an expectation of verdict as his plea contains sentiments of hundreds of thousands people. It said Swamy was expecting a verdict rather than a suggestion. The party said they want an order from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue. The editorial stated that the entire country is following the Prime minister and people from minority community will also hear him.
