A cloud depression over the northeast part of India has been the reason behind some scattered thunderstorms lately and is expected to continue on Wednesday as weather gods keep on surprising India and its citizen, while unstable conditions are expected in Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal as southerly winds in the Bay of Bengal have caused cumulonimbus clouds across the three states.

Meanwhile, heavy rainfall accompanied by frequent lightning is expected to continue to affect people of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, northern Madhya Pradesh, and West Bengal.
However, the depression is predicted to shift westward on Thursday causing heavy rain in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and eastern Rajasthan.

Temperatures are expected to be on the cooler side in north India that includes Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, while warmer temperatures are expected in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and flood-ravaged Kerala.
