Watch video: Woman drags husband to first floor at Andhra hospital as hospital staff denies help

In a shocking incident in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantpur, a woman was seen dragging her husband, sick and paralysed, behind her up the ramp of a hospital. No wheelchair or stretcher was available in the state-run hospital.

Nobody came forward to help her. The incident took place on Wednesday and was filmed on a mobile phone. The onlookers can be seen in the video but they did not help. The 46-year-old man had visible sores on his legs.

According to reports, the woman was denied a stretcher by the health officials at the government hospital. Left with no choice, she had to take him upstairs by dragging him.
