BJP national vice-president Uma Bharti said on Saturday that the women staging protests at Shaheen Bagh are 'godesses', but the people who conspiring to make them sit and block roads are 'demons'. Bharti alleged that the Shaheen Bagh was part of a much larger conspiracy. Talking about the violence in northeast Delhi, Bhari expressed doubt that true perpetrators will be caught. She said that often rioters kill the innocent and run away and then are never caught. Meanwhile, those who die have nothing to do with the mob in the first place.
Bharti also expressed happiness over the progress in the construction of Ram temple. Bharti said that she was fortunate that she will be able to witness the construction of a Ram Mandir in her lifetime. The construction of a grand Ram temple at the "Janmabhoomi" has been on the manifesto of the party for over two decades and the dream of people for longer, she said.
Chairman of the Ram Temple Construction Committee Nripendra Mishra visited Ayodhya to initiate the process for preparing a blueprint for construction of the temple. Mishra also met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Friday. On 19th of this month, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das was elected President and Champat Rai as General Secretary of the Trust at its first meeting in New Delhi. The meeting had also elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi's former Principal Secretary Nripendra Misra as the Head of the Temple Construction Committee of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust
