Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said his government was working towards fulfilling the dream of all those who envisaged a prosperous Maharashtra.
The Maharashtra CM, offered floral tributes at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue near the airport here, to mark the 56th Maharashtra Day.
Fadnavis expressed his resolve to make Maharashtra drought-free. He also charged the previous Congress-NCP government of neglecting Vidharbha.
“Our government is working towards removing that injustice. Nagpur and Mumbai will be linked with each other by road,” he said.
According to the Chief Minister, in a bid to ease the traffic congestion in Mumbai, the government will lay a wide network of Metro Rail.
Besides this, the government will be constructing 11 lakh affordable houses for the common man in Mumbai, he added.
